Municipality office building engulfed in fire in Shopian

Shopian: A fire engulfed Town Hall, housed in Municipality Committee Building, in Shopian district on Monday night, sending a huge plume of smoke into the sky.
Reports reaching INS said at around 8 p.m., smoke and flames were seen coming out of Municipality Committee Office Building. Soon police and fire service department personnel rushed to the spot and were on the job to douse the flames, the reports said.
A top police officer said that reason behind the fire will be investigated but apparently it seems accidental given number of baker shops are situated adjacent to the building.
