Day after attack on colleague, 3 SPOs quit job in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district

Budgam: A day after a Special Police Officer (SPO) was shot at and injured by suspected militants at Chrawni village of Central Kashmir’s Chrari Shareef area, three SPOs have resigned, at least through social media, on Sunday.
The SPOs appeared in three different videos, circulated on social media, announcing that they are no more affiliated with Jammu and Kashmir Police department.
The SPOs whose resignation videos are doing rounds on social media identified themselves as Hilal Ahmad Dar, a resident of Zinpanchal village of Chrari Shareef, Mohammad Lateef Bhat son of Abdul Majeed Bhat of Futli Pora Chrari Shareef and Mohammad Iqbal Hurrah son of Abdul Hamid Hurrah of Tilsara Chrari Shareef. No official could be contacted for comment.
