Kreeri Gunfight: Clashes erupt, tear gas used to disperse protestors

Baramulla: Clashes erupted in Kreeri village of this north Kashmir district where a gunfight is raging between government forces and militants on Thursday morning.

According to eye witnesses youth took to streets in Utoora and its adjoining villages of Kreeri this morning  shouting pro-freedom slogans pelted rocks at the government forces.

The government forces lobbed tear gas canisters to disperse the stone pelting protesters.
