Srinagar: Chenab valley in the Jammu division of the state is observing a complete shutdown on Monday against the killing of ten person in Kulgam on Sunday.
According to locals a complete strike is being observed in the area mourning killing of seven civilians in an explosion near the gunfight site in Laroo village of Kulgam, post a gunfight between militants and government forces that culminated in the killing of three Jaish e Mohammad militants.
Kashmir valley remains shut against the killing as Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) had called for shutdown today and a march to Lal Chowk on Tuesday to protest the “bloodbath” in Kulgam.
