Pulwama: Suspected militants attacked an army party in Malangpora Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday afternoon.

Sources told INS that militants fired on  55 Army party in Malangpora which was retaliated. The firefight continued for brief period. However, there was no loss of life or injury reported so far, sources said.

Soon after the attack, government forces cordoned off Malangpora and Jagalnad Baderwen villages.
