Gunfight between militants, forces erupts in Handwara, schools shut, internet suspended

Kupwara: Gunfight erupted between militants and government forces in Handwara’s Shartgund Bala area on Thursday morning.

“Two to three militants are believed to be trapped,” sources said.

Internet services  have been suspended in the area while as all educational institutions will remain closed today by order of DM Kupwara.
