Srinagar: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from ward two of Ramban municipality in Jammu and Kashmir has died of heart attack on Wednesday.

Reports said that the candidate, Azad Singh Raju died soon after casting his vote at Sunaari mohallah in Ramban town during the ongoing second phase of municipal elections.

Meanwhile, over 12 per cent votes were polled in four wards of Banihal municipality till 8 am.
