Anantnag: Innovating and creating things of interest has continued to be part of life for a fireman from Anantnag. Gadgetry amuses him so does he, make some to be beneficial.
50 year old Peerzada Akhter Hussain hails from south kashmirs Kokernag Breng area is an employee in fire and emergency service department.
Hussain has experimented several innovations in his a small room cum laboratory at his house making Polythene decomposer, Fire age, Electric Brush cutter and more.
According to Hussain polythene decomposer is one of his ffavourite.
“The machine melts polythene at 135 degree converting it into Gas,” he says.
He says that he has been talking to some of the experts in kashmir they said that the gas which comes through machine is eco friendly.
“Fire age” he named his motorcycle fitted with fire extinguishers using agricultural spray machinery. The idea is to navigate through narrow street, he says.
“Electric Brush Cutter” he created for grass cutting.
After being back from job, Hussain spends time to experiment innovations at home.
“I use my own salary to buy objects for innovations and my family supports me, ” he told INS.
Akther had joined Fire and emergency service department in 1991 and joined as ffirema.
The lone son to his parents, Hussain’s wife and two children have supported him always.
