Srinagar: The educational career of the students was put on a grinding halt by the authorities as the Kashmir University according to the students here has failed to declare the results since past year.

However, much to the shock of the students, the KU higher ups informed INS that the varsity has declared all the results, saying as of now, no result is pending.

The students while talking to INS said that the varsity officials are playing with the career of students as they are delaying their results for unknown reasons since long.

“We approached to the higher ups several times to make our result public but all in vein as the authorities continued with the delaying tactics,  thus putting the educational career of students at stake,” they said.

“I appeared in BG final year examinations in the year 2017 but unfortunately the varsity officials have so far failed to declare our results,” said Farika Yousuf a student.

She added that she is aspiring to appear in LLB entrance but due to the withheld of the results, the varsity authorities are wasting their precious time unnecessarily.

“We urged the KU administration to look into the matter at an earliest and make our results public,” the students said.

Sources informed INS that Vice-Chancellor of Kashmir University; Professor Talat Ahmad soon after taking the charge in August this year also took a strong note over the delay in declaration of results of examinations.

They informed that Vice-chancellor of the varsity also summoned the examination controller over the delay in declaration of results, directing him to declare the results at an earliest.

However, Director NAD Majid Zaman Baba while talking to INS said that all the results pending from last couple of months have been declared. “Those having any difficulty in getting their results should contact us,” he added.
