Students from Government Higher Secondary School Hariganwan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal assembled on Srinagar-Leh highway at Ganiwan market and blocked the vehicular movement.

“The syllabus  is yet to be completed by teachers while exams are being ordered without considering the students’ point of view,” they said.

Students were demanding that their examination should be deferred to mid-November.The principal of the school and a police party reached at the spot and pacified the protesting students.

He assured them that their grievances will be taken up with higher authorities.
