11th class students protest in Pulwama, disrupt traffic

Pulwama: Students of class 11th on Monday protested in Pulwama against education department about their scheduled exams citing that the syllabus issued by the education department has not been taught completely by the school authorities.

Students from Mahjoor Memorial higher secondary school assembled in main chowk Pulwama protest and block traffic raised slogans against education department.

“BOSE issued date sheet while syllabus is not complete due to the prevailing situation in district. For maximum time school were closed by authorities on the pretext of law and order,” Amir Ahmad, a protesting student said.

Students demanded and appealed to DC Pulwama look into the matter and reduce the syllabus.
