 KCCI elects office bearers, results for election of 21 executive committee members declared

Srinagar: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Inc) elected office bearers with Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad elected as president while as results of the election for executive committee members were announced here on Saturday.
The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Inc) held its 84th Annual General Meeting at SKICC, Srinagar and was attended by around 300 members.
As a part of the agenda for the AGM, results of the elections for Executive Committee of KCC&I for the year 2018-2019 were declared by three member Election Commission comprising Rauf Ahmad Punjabi (Chairman), Dr. Mubeen Shah and Abdul Hamid Punjabi, both members. The Election Commission was constituted for the purpose of conducting the elections to the 21 member Executive Committee.
The office bearers elected include Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, M/s Alkhudam Travels Pvt. Ltd, (President); Nasir Hamid Khan, M/s Sunfresh Supermarkets, (Sr. Vice President); Dr. Abdul Majid Mir, M/s Cashmere Marketing Agencies (Jr. Vice President); Farooq Amin, M/s Kanwal Foods & Spices Pvt. Ltd, ( Secretary General); Sheikh Gowher Ali , M/s Star C & S, (Jt. Secretary General) and Manzoor Ahmad Pakhtoon, M/s Silk Route Holidays, as Treasurer.
The elected executive committee members include Abdul Wahid Malik, M/s Hotel New Park,
(551 votes), Javid Ahmad Tenga, M/s Kashmir Rugs & Pashmina Co, (545), Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad,
M/s Alkhudam Travels Pvt. Ltd, (537), Farooq Amin, M/s Kanwal Foods & Spices Pvt. Ltd, (528)
Sajid Farooq Shah, M/s Comrade Inn Pvt. Ltd,( 528) Syed Masood Shah ,M/s Shah Arts Emporium (528),
Dr. Abdul Majid Mir, M/s Cashmere Marketing Agencies (526), Faiz Ahmad Bakshi, M/s Murassa Exports (524), Nasir Hamid Khan, M/s Sunfresh Supermarkets (524), Sheikh Imran, M/s The Waterfall Café (519), Ashiq Hussain Shangloo, M/s Aqis Trading Co (516), Muzaffar Majid Jan, M/s Kashmir Oriental Crafts Industries (514), Ashfaq Siddiq Dug, M/s Hotel Pine Grove (511), Fayaz A Punjabi,
