Srinagar: Governor’s Administration today constituted a high-level Committee to review the records of members of the Indian Administrative Service of J&K cadre, under rule 16(3) of the All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958.

According to the order, the committee will be headed by Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam.

The members of the Committee are Vice Chairman/ Director General, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development Lokesh Dutt Jha, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India, Suresh Kumar, Commissioner/Secretary to Government, General Administration Department Hilal Ahmad and one Apex Scale Level Officer of the neighboring State who will be nominated subsequently.
