Three among nine injured near encounter site in Qazigund referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment

Anantnag: Three injured in clashes between forces and protesters near encounter site at Chogam Qazigund, have been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment. Among them two have bullet injury and one was hit with pellet gun in eyes.

According to Anantnag hospital officials the injured were identified as :

Javed Ahmad s/o M Yousuf r/o chogam, has pellet injury in right eye.

Umar s/o Gul Mohammad, R/o Panzath  has pellet injury in right eye and has been referred to Sgr (SMHS).

Adil s/s Gulam Mohammad r/o Qazigund, has fire injury in leg and has been referred to Bone and Joint hospital Barzulla Sgr.

Suhail Ahmad s/o Mohamamd Hussain r/o Babpora, has fire injury in left leg and has also been referred to B&J hospital Sgr.

Mohmmad Amin S/o Bashir Ahmad r/o Qazigund, has pellet injury in head and face.

Aijaz Ahmad S/O Mohamad Yaqoob R/O churath, has pellet injury in eye.

Munir s/o Gulam hassan r/o Qazigund, has pellet injury in neck.

Salib S/O Ghulam Hassan R/O Chawalgam, has pellet injury in left leg.

Imran S/O Abdul Majeed R/O Chowgam, has pellet injury in left leg.

Massive clashes erupted near encounter site in Chogam were forces killed five local militants on Saturday morning during cordon and search operation that were launched late friday night.

As forces zeroed in, hiding militants opened fire leading to gunfight, officials said.
