Shamshad Ahmad Kuchay was elected President Traders Federation Bandipora.

The federation held its elections after term of Six years. Out of 1136 votes 896 voters cast their votes.

Three candidates were in the contest in which Acting President of Shamshad Ahmad Kuchay was elected as president of Traders Federation Bandipora who secured 512 votes.

For the post of general secretary, Naseer Ahmad Mir Secured 506 votes.

Kuchay said: I am deeply indebted to my brothers who reaffirmed their faith in me.

“I will try to serve the people of Bandipora town to best of my capabilities. It is the peoples win. ”
