Body of 25-year-old youth found at the instance of his murderers after 14 days: Police

Srinagar: Police on Sunday recovered body of a 25-year-old youth on the instance of two persons who according to cops murdered him fourteen days back in Tangmarg area o north Kashmir.
According to police, on August 26, one Abdul Majeed Teeli o Rishipora,Khaipora Bala, Tangmarg approached Police station Tangmarg with a written complaint, stating that his son Mehraj-ud-din Teeli (25) has gone missing since August 24. Accordingly, a missing report was diarized in Police Station Tangmarg and search was undertaken, a police spokesman said. “Police made all out efforts to trace the missing person but he couldn’t be found anywhere,” the spokesman said
Meanwhile, he said, working on some clues, police rounded up some suspects and began their sustained questioning.
“After prolonged questioning two suspects namely Irshad Ahmed Wani son of Ghulam Mohidin and Imtiyaz Ahmed Wani son of Ghulam Rasool both residents of village Rishipora Khaipora Bala,Tangmarg finally revealed that they murdered the missing person Mehrajuddin Teli on the same day he had apparently gone missing and later buried his body in Budar Nallah at some distance from their native village,” the spokesman said.
Later body of the youth was disinterred by a team of medical and forensic experts in presence of a Magistrate, he said. Subsequently case FIR No. 75/2018 U/S 302 RPC was registered in Police Station Tangmarg.
