Eleven passengers, including two women, were injured after a passenger vehicle skidded off a road and plunged into a gorge in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

An official said a vehicle (bearing registration number JK-03D-2348) was on way to Banihal from Mahoo- Mangith in Ramban district when it rolled down into a nallah near Bawa in Khari tehsil around 11 am.

Eleven passengers, including two women, were injured in the accident and shifted to Sub-district hospital Banihal.

The injured women were shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for specialised treatment.`
