JAMMU: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah have extended greetings to the people on Janamashtami wishing them well being and prosperity.

In his message,  Farooq Abdullah has emphasized the crucial need of further strengthening the bonds of love and harmony between various segments of the society. He prayed for peace and prosperity in the State and hoped that this festival will be celebrated in true spirit of Jammu and Kashmir’s composite culture.

Omar Abdullah, in his felicitation message, said that tradition of celebrating festivals in an atmosphere of amity and brotherhood adds colour to the joyful occasions.  He hoped that this festival will be a harbinger of peace and prosperity in the state.

Provincial President National Conference Mr Devender Singh Rana also greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Janamashtami and prayed for peace and tranquility in the State.
