Tral: Despite shutdown and protests against the attempt to abrograte Article 35-A in J&K, darshan of “Nawnag”, holy shrine of hindus, was held as per schedule in Nowdal village of Tral sub division on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses told INS that scores of amarnath yatra pilgrims from all over the country assembled in Nowdal area and participated in the darshan.
On that occasion, locals Muslims once again showed communal harmony and humanity by staying side by side with the hindu pilgrims.
The Muslims were seen welcoming them with warm handshakes as usual and also they stayed there for full day with them.
“We are always staying here with Yatris on this day to make them aware that they are like our brothers,” local Muslims said.
The pilgrims have also expressed gratitude towards the Muslim community for their courtesy.
It is pertain to mention here that “Nawnag” darshan is being celebrated every year in Nowdal village of Tral, after the conclusion of Amarnath yatra.
