Militants detonate IED, attack patrolling party in Pulwama

Pulwama: Militants on Tuesday attacked an Army vehicle by detonating an IED at Nowpora Payeen in Pulwama South Kashmir.

” Army’s 44RR came under an IED blast attack, which was followed by heavy in the wee hours of Tuesday,” police sources said.
“Casper was moving through Nowpora Payeen area, where this incident actually took place,” they said..
Sources said that brief exchange of firing between militants and forces was also took place after which militants fled from the spot.
Meanwhile, heavy forces were rushed to the area.
