Gambling site busted in Nehru Park: 5 arrested, Rs 74,960 stake money seized

Srinagar:Police on Monday claimed to have busted a gambling site in Nehru Park area of Srinagar on Aug 26 and arrested five persons. They also recovered stake money of Rs 74,960.

“On the evening of 26th August, based on a specific input, police party of Police Post Nehru -Parkraided a gambling site in kohnakhan Dalgate, and arrested 5 gamblers,” police said.

Police further said that stake money of Rs 74,960 and playing cards were also recovered from the site.
