JAMMU: The J&K High Court Legal Services Committee is going to organize a National Lok Adalat on September 8, 2018 in Jammu wing of High Court for the amicable settlement of Pre-Litigation Cases including NI Act cases under Section 138, Bank Recovery cases, Labour dispute cases, Electricity and water Bills (excluding non- compoundable) and Others (Criminal Compoundable, Matrimonial and other Civil disputes).

Further, the Pending cases in the Courts (which are reflected on National Judicial Data Grid) shall be taken up before the National Lok Adalat including Criminal Compoundable offence, NI Act cases under Section 138 ,Bank Recovery cases ,MACT ,Labour disputes ,Electricity and water Bills (excluding non-compoundable),Matrimonial disputes; Land Acquisition cases ,Services Matters relating to pay and allowances and retrial benefits ,Revenue cases and other Civil cases(Rent Easmentary Rights, Injunction Suits, Specific Performance Suits) etc.

All the parties interested for the settlement of their respective cases/disputes through the Lok Adalat may approach with the title and number of the case before Registrar Judicial, High Court of J&K Jammu wing by or before August 27, 2018.
