8-kg MSG found from restaurant in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: The market checking squad of  Muncipal committee Ganderbal has recovered prohibited edible item namely Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) from a restaurant in Ganderbal.

A team of Municipal committee Ganderbal raided the Hot-spot hotel and restaurant on hospital road Duderhama Ganderbal on Monday and recovered 8-kg of a chemical substance called Mono sodium Glutamate MSG.

Executive officer Municipal committee Ganderbal G M Lone said a team of food safety experts have also been called and are currently examining the food items of the restaurant.
