The move is aimed at providing a helping hand to its female staff in taking care of their infants.

Officials said that employees of the institute including female resident doctor, a nurse, a paramedic or any other employee can keep their infants at the centre where we have got people to take care of their kids.

“The mother can come anytime and breastfeed their infants, and with this, we help those working mothers in taking care of their infants, which otherwise would have been difficult for them,” officials added.

The institute has stationed a maid and an orderly at the centre, who have been given the duty of taking care of the infants and the centre has got three different corners namely, sleeping corner, feeding corner and lactating corner.
