Demise of AB Vajpayee: J&K Bank to work for half day today

Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Friday announced half day working for employees in memory of the former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee who died on Thursday.

“In terms of Ministry of Finance, GOI order, all the public sector banks shall observe half day holiday today on account of demise of Atal bihari Vajpayee,” read the order.

Accordingly, all business units, ECs, offices of the Bank shall observe the holiday in the second half on Friday, Bank ordered the employees.
