Police detains several SBM teachers, march to Raj Bhavan foiled

Srinagar: Police on Thursday detained several contractual employees working under Central sponsored Scheme, Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM)as they marched towards Raj Bhavan demanding regularisation of their services.

AS SBM employees begun marching from Polo view Park in Lal-chowk towards the official residence of Governor N N Vohra in order to register their protest, police swung into action and detained many of them foiling there protest march.
