Israel couple rescued by SDRF in Leh

Srinagar: SDRF Leh on Tuesday rescued a foreign couple from a rock hill in a village Liker-Saspochay.

Police said that SDRF Leh received an information that a foreign couple has been stuck on a rock hill.

“Incharge Dy. Controller Civil Defence Leh Ladakh deputed a five-member team for the rescue operation.After conducting a search the SDRF team spotted the foreign couple on a steep rock hill. The couple were rescued safely by the trained SDRF team, they were identified as Dubiniwski Barak and Fragin Chasys Mushka from Israel,” police said.

On inquiring the Israeli couple informed that they climbed the rock hill but were unable to come down.
