Impersonating as Vigilance Commissioner, cheater arrested

Srinagar:  Police on tuesday claimed to have nabbed  a cheater, impersonating as vigilance commissioner, was arrested in Srinagar.

“Srinagar Police arrested the impersonator namely Javed Akhtar son of Abul Kalam and his wife Nishat Akhtar  resident of House no F-82, G-10, Jawaher Park Lakashmi Nager, Delhi East who was impersonating as vigilance commissioner and was wanted in case FIR no 40/2018 under section 419, 420, 120B RPC of Police Station Rajbagh,” police said.

Further investigation of the case is under progress, police said in a statement.
