Srinagar: Government forces on Monday launched Cordon and search operation (CASO) in Konan village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Locals said that forces launched Cordon in Peer Mohalla and Ganai Mohalla localities of the village.

Sources said that army and special operations group (SOG) personnel of J&K police cordoned off the village localities in the afternoon and launched house to house searches.
