Srinagar: The government on Monday transferred 24 police officers in the interest of administration in the state.

According to an order issued here by Home department, Dr. Vinod Kumar (IPS; JK: 2011) SP, North, Jammu has been transferred and posted as SP, Kargil vice T. Gyalpo.

Ashish Kumar Mishra (IPS; JK: 2013), SP, South, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SP, Handwara vice Ghulam Jeelani Wani.

Chandan Kohli (IPS ;JK: 2013), Additional SP, Pulwama has been transferred and posted as SP, Pulwama vice Mohd Aslam, G.V. Sundeep Chakaravarthy (IPS; JK:2014), Addl. SP, Baramulla has been transferred and posted as SP, South, Srinagar vice Ashish Kumar Mishra (IPS). Dr. Ajeet Singh (JKPS: 1999), awaiting orders of posting in PHQ, has been transferred and posted as SSP (I) in ZPHQK. “One post of SP from the overall cadre strength is also transferred for the purpose.”

Abdul Qayoom (JKPS:1999), awaiting orders of posting in Home Department, has been transferred and posted as AIG (CIV) against an available vacancy.

Ms Nisha Nathyal (JKPS: 1999), Commandant, JKAP 7th Battalion has been transferred and posted as SSP, Reasi vice Tahir Sajad Bhat.

Anita Sharma, (JKPS: 1999), Commandant, IR-15th Battalion has been transferred and posted as SSP, Ramban vice Mohan LaL. Anil Kumar Magotra (JKPS: 1999), SSP, Samba has been transferred and posted as Commandant IR-24th Battalion vice Dr. Koshal Kumar.

Dr. Koshal Kumar (JKPS: 1999), Commandant, 1R-24th Battalion has been transferred and posted as SSP, Samba vice Anil Kumar Magotra.

Mohammad Aslam, SSP Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as  SSP, AHj Airport Jammu. Fayaz Ahmad Lone, SSP Ganderbal has been transferred and posted as Commandant IR-9th Batallion. Rajinder Kumar Gupta, has been transferred and posted as SSP Kishtwar, T. Gyalpo as Commandant IR-25th Batallion, Shailer Singh as AIG (Building) PHQ, Mohan Lal as Commandant JKAP 7th Battalion, Tahiq Sajad as Commandant IR-2nd battalion, Shabir Ahmad Malik, SO to ADGP HG/CD/SDRF has been transferred and posted as SSP Doda, Mohammad Shabir  as SO to ADGP HG/CD/SDRF, Tahir Saleem Khan as SSP (HR) CID Headquarter, Khalil Ahmad Poswal as SSP Ganderbal, Abrar Ahmad Choudary as Commandant Ir-4th Batallion, Ghulam Jeelani wani as Commandant IR-13 Battalion and Tahir Ashraf Bhat as SP, PC Srinagar.
