Article 35A: 14-Member Bar Team Headed By Its President To Appear Before SC

Srinagar: A 14-member team of Kashmir High Court Bar Association will appear before the Supreme Court on Monday to oppose a prayer made in several writ petitions for scrapping of Articles 35-A and 370 of Constitution of India and Section 6 of the Constitution of J&K.
The decision in this regard was taken in executive meeting at District Court Complex Moominabad Srinagar.
The team includes President, J&K High Court Bar Association M. A. Qayoom, Vice-President Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, G. N. Shaheen (Secretary), Adil Asimi (Joint Secretary), Z. A. Shah (Senior Advocate), Riyaz Ahmad Jan (Senior Advocate), Manzoor Ahmad Dar , Altaf Haqani, Mohammad Shafi Reshi, Nazir Ahmad Ronga, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, Bashir Sidiq, Mudasir Yousuf and Mian Muzaffar.
