Kupwara: One boy was injured after being hit with a bullet during clashes between government forces and protesters at Thaiyen Kalaroos area of Kupwara on Friday.

According to hospital officials a boy identified as Danish Ahmad had received bullet in hip and has been referred to srinagar for specialised treatment.

The area is on boil after two Hizbul Mujahideen, both locals, were killed in a shoot out at Khumriyal area of north Kashmir yesterday.
