The flash floods had damaged whole village, destroying crops, trees, vegetation’s and other properties.

Mohammad Yaqoob Gujjar, resident of Gujjar Basti, Nagbal Tral was hit badly as flash floods completely washed away his house.

After the family was left with no roof to live under he said that some sub district and district administration visited the area and assured all possible assistance to him in reconstruction of his house.

“Promises were broken and one does not cater to needs through them,” he complains.

He and his wife soon took it upon themselves to create a living place and since then the family lives in a makeshift tin shed.

“The family will get their new house soon,” Riyaz said.
