Militants attack CRPF in Battaamaloo Srinagar, one injured

One CRPF man was injured after unknown gunmen fired upon a CRPF party near Pampori and Sons showroom in Batmallo area of Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon.

An official said that unknown gunmen fired upon a CRPF party at Batmaloo, resulting in injuries to  CRPF man.

SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismael Parray told Media that militants had opened fire on forces personnel leading to injuries to one.

Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area and searches are on to nab the assailants.
