Describing the night as ‘full of horror’ another patient claimed that they had to light candles to light up the room.

More tgan 200 patients are in these two sarai’s and “have been left on the mercy of God”.

“Lifts are not working and we are not able to move patients when needed,” they said.

We repeatedly told officials that patients are suffering as water shortage too hot the places as motors couldn’t be started.

Patients say that many of whom have to go medical examination, investigation and some have to be induced with medicines but since the place has been ‘rendered dark’ they are all waiting for electricity to be back.

Assistant Executive engineer Farooq Ahmad claimed that there was a problem with supply line and they are working on it. “It won’t take much time,” he said earlier.

But after the supply was not restored, he claimed that there ‘are other issues with the supply line”.

When this report was being filed both the places were yet to receive electricity.
