Militants attack police naka in Sopore

Sopore: Suspected militants Thursday attacked police naka party at By pass Sopore. Initial reports suggest that militants were bike borne.

According to police sources militants opened fire at Jammu and kashmir police Naka Party and escaped from the scene.

“No one is injured in the incident but the whole area has been cordoned off and search for the assailants has been launched,” he said.

Cordon and search operation is being jointly conducted by SOG sopore,  22RR, 177,179 CrPF.
