Large queues of patients and attendants could be seen jostling together in scorching heat.

“Its unfortunate that only two counters are open. Peoples suffering means nothing to these officials,” a person who identified himself as  Ghulam  Mohammad said, adding that people for more than an hour have been waiting in the queue.

Medical Superintendent SKIMS Dr Farooq Jan told INS that two of the employees are on leave.

“We have now arranged one person and have opened third counter. We will get another person for the fourth counter,” he said.

SKIMS receives a huge rush of patients across valley on daily basis for being the super specialty hospital.

The poor management since morning have irked the patients and attendants alike.
