Policeman abducted, killed by militants in south Kashmir

Shopian: Body of a police constable abducted last evening by suspected militants from Vehil Kachdora area of this south Kashmir district has been found from neighbouring Kulgam district, officials said on Friday.
Reports said policeman identified as Javid Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Hamid Dar of Vehil village was abducted by nearly four militants when he was way to a local medical shop.
He was taken into santro car and taken to unknown place, they said. Soon a picture went viral on social media where the policeman was seeing without clothes at an unknown place and it had watermark of “Hamza Hizbi”.
“Today morning the bullet-riddled body of the policeman was found at Pariwan village of Kulgam district,” the officials said.
Reportedly, Dar was escort of former SSP Shopian Shalender Mishra. On June 14 last month, militants abducted an army man, Aurangzeb from Kalampora village of Pulwama while he was on way to his native village in Poonch. His body was recovered from Gusoo village of the district on next day. Army Chief and defence ministry later visited the residence of the army man.
