Coordination among govt functionaries, Police, Army needed for peace: Advisor, CS

Srinagar: Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar and Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam on Tuesday underscored need of effective coordination among all functionaries of State Government, Police Departments and Army to ensure peace in the State. The advisor and Chief Secretary had convened the introductory meeting with senior Army, J&K Police and Paramilitary officersregarding security and other developmental issues, here today. The meeting was attended by Director General of Police Dr S P Vaid, Principal Secretary Home R K Goyal, General Officer Commanding Chinar Corps Lt General A K Bhatt, ADGP Law & Order/Security Muneer Khan, ADGP CID AG Mir, IGP Kashmir S P Pani, IG (Ops) CRPF Srinagar, IG CRPF (Admn) Srinagar, IG BSF Kashmir and representatives from Divisional Commissioner’s Office Kashmir.
