Cloudburst in Tral, gusty winds damage 2 vehicles, security barrack at KU

Srinagar: A cloudburst hit Narastan and Satoora areas of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, triggering flash floods on Tuesday evening. However there were no immediate reports about loss of life or property.

Meanwhile, at Kashmir University, two private vehicles and a security barrack were damaged after some chinar branch fell due to gusty winds.

Chief Proctor Kashmir University Dr Naseer Ahmad told GINS that santro (jk5A-3330) belonging to one Aijaz Ahmad Wani and Tiago (Jk01AD-5315) of Abbas Hussain got damaged. He said that besides a security Barrak, many electronic poles were also damaged. However he said fortunately there was no injury to anyone in the incident.
