Militants offer gun salute to Bashir Lashkar on first anniversary

Anantnag: Militants offered gun salute to slain LeT Commander Bashir Lashkar in his native village of Soaf Sahli here on Sunday night.

Sources said that a group of four to six militants appeared in the area, shouting slogans in favour of Bashir Lashkar, the LeT commander who was killed along with his associate Azad Malik alias Dada of Arwani Anantnag in a gunfight with government forces in south Kashmir on July 1 last year.

The militants, they said, offered Fateh Khawani to Bashir Lashkar before offering him gun salute.
