Srinagar: A youth was shot dead by the government forces near the gunfight site at Chatpora area of district Pulwama on Friday.

The deceased youth has been identified as Faizan Ahmad Khan. His father, Dr Abdul Gani Khan, is a doctor posted in Pulwama district. He along with family resides presently at the doctors’ quarters at DH Pulwama.

According to hospital sources, Faizan was brought dead to the hospital. He had received a bullet injury in chest. There was no official comment about youth’s death so far. This is fifth civilian killing after governor rule was imposed.
