Srinagar: Khurshid A Ganai, the former State Chief Information Commissioner, is likely to be appointed as advisor to governor N N Vohra.
Sources said that Ganie (IAS retd) resigned on Thursday to pave way for his appointment as the advisor. He was appointed as one of the advisor to Governor N N Vohra when state was put under Governor rule after the death of Mufti Mohammad Syed, the former chief minister of the state.
