Police bust some OGW module in Sopore

Baramulla: Acting on specific information, Sopore Police with the assistance of 22 RR 177/BN CRPF and 179/BN CRPF laid a joint naka at Fruitmandi crossing Sopore last evening and arrested 4 OGW’s of proscribed outfit JeM, a police statement said on Wednesday

Police identified the arrested as Mohammad Ayoub Malla son of Ghulam  Hassan Malla resident of Malgonipora, Fayaz Ahmad War son of Ghulam Mohiudin War resident of Warpora, Javid Ahmad War son of Abdul Rehman War resident of Warpora and Maqsood Ahmad war son of Mohammad Yousf War resident of Duchanpora Rohama.

Police said 2 UBGL, Grenades and matrix sheets of JeM outfit were recovered from their possession.

A Case FIR NO. 174/18  U/S 7/25 Arms Act , 13 ULA stands registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation set into motion, police added.
