Governor delegates power of departments to two advisories

Srinagar: Governor N N Vohra on Saturday delegated powers to his advisors in respect of the various Departments as were discharged previous by ministers before collapse of the PDP-BJP regime in the state.
“The powers already delegated to the Administrative Secretaries as notified vide Notification SRO 281 dated 23-06-2018 shall continue to be exercised by them. However, the Advisors shall identify the items of work and matters, other than those delegated vide above SRO, which shall be put to them for decision, approval or information and notify the same through issue of Standing Order(s), copies of which shall be sent to the Governor,” reads a notification issued here.
The departments delegated to B B Vyas include finance, law, GAD, Housing and Urban development department, ARI and Training, Rural development, ladakh affairs, estates, civil aviation, PWD, PDP, PHE and IC, agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, industries and commerce, animal & sheep husbandry and corporative.
K Vijay Kumar has been delegated Home, youth, services & sports, revenue, disaster management, , tribal affairs, forest, hospital & protocol, food civil supplies, information, labour and employment, school education, higher education, technical education, health & medical education, science and technology, tourism, culture, information technology and social welfare.
