Bandipora Gunfight : Two more militants killed, toll 5

Bandipora: Two more militants were killed in an ongoing gunfight at Panar forest area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. With the killing, the death toll has reached five, four of them being militants.

Official Sources confirmed that two more militants were killed in gunfight and their identification was yet to be ascertained. “Operation is still going on to trace out the hiding militants”, they added.

Two militants and an army soldier were killed in the operation earlier on June 14.

Heavy reinforcements of army and SOG have been rushed to the Panar forest to nab hiding militants who are said to be more than 11 in number.
