Sources said Army entered in the village and removed banners and graffiti of militants in village, people quickly assembled and began protesting over  the move.

Local sources claimed that  Army had to resort to aerial firing to disperse the protesters.

Earlier this month four girls were injured when army tried to hold an Iftar in the village despite repeated assertion by villagers that it will only vitiate the atmosphere against the forces. Protests and clashes had erupted that day as well.
