Isha prayers at 10 p.m. on Shab-e-Qadr at Jamia Masjid, Mirwaiz to lead prayers for repentance

Srinagar: Isha (late evening) prayers on Shab-e-Qadr will be offered at 10 p.m. at historic Jamia Masjid here.
According to a statement issued here, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, chairman Hurriyat Conference and Mutahida Majlise Amal (MMU) patron, will be addressing people on 26th Ramazan on the eve of Laialatul Qadr (night of blessings) soon after Tarawih prayers.
“Mirwaiz will throw light on the Lailatul Qadr and will lead the prayers of repentance. He will also pray for the upliftment of Muslim Umah ànd easing of enormous challenges the Kashmiri nation is confronted with.”
On 25th Ramazan (Sunday), Mirwaiz will address a gathering at Sheikh ul Alam masjid Ahmed Nagar before Asr prayers.
During the religious gatherings Mirwaiz has been shedding light on various aspects of Ramazan and the benefits of fasting. He also has been urging people to make Ramazan as a complete way of life.
