Srinagar: The Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh along with the Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen AK Bhatt on Thursday visited the Army formations and units deployed in South Kashmir and took stock of the security situation.
Later in the day, the General Officer also attended a meeting chaired by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the prevailing security scenario in the Valley.
In the evening, the Army Commander also attended an Iftaar at SKICC hosted by the CM Ms Mehbooba Mufti and extended his warm greetings to the Awaam of Kashmir.
