Hajin: Masked men abduct youth, people chase them

Masked men abucted a youth in Hajin area of Bandipora district last night but after people chased them, escaped.

The incident cones Days after militants appeared in Hajin town , which has witnessed a killing spree by unidentified gunmen, and asked to nab the killers people.

Monday night unidentified gunmen abducted   One Youth Shahid Ah Khan S/O Habibullah Khan from Chrangpora Banyari Hajin .

The masked men, two in number had barged in his house.

Local reports said that people chased them but they managed to escaped from the spot and Shahid was found near some distance in unconscious position.

Militants had denied involvement in the recent killings in which people were murdered either after being kidnapped or killed in their houses.

The latest death was of a butcher who was murdered in his house. His throat was slit.

Militants later appeared in public denieng involvement and urging people to resist such attacks and hand these people to them.

 

Further details of last night’s incident are awaited.
